Editing Work For A Rough Manuscript For A True Story

Greetings,
My name is Tim Brown and I am writing a book chronicling the events of what happened with my son Caleb Brown last year at Fall Creek Falls National Park. My son was injured by a falling boulder but a miracle occurred where he not only survived, but is now walking, talking, and playing again. There is another element to the story that was not reported on the media and that is that God began speaking to us through the accident and teaching us many things about love and family and the meaning and importance of life. We are currently preparing the manuscript for an editor who will be presenting it to Thomas Nelson Publishers but before she even touches it, the manuscript has to be at least 140,000 words or less. Right now I am about to do a third editing on my part and it is around 200,000 words.
What I am looking for is someone who can help me by reading the manuscript and looking for things that are not necessarily to the overall theme and purpose of the book, which is to tell the story of our family, the faith that God us through, and the miracles that God revealed through everything that happened. I know that right now there are many parts of the story that are things that we as the family wanted to remember, but are not going to be necessary for the overall book and for Thomas Nelson.
We are not looking for in depth grammar decisions, spelling, etc--just someone to read over the book and identify places that can be cut, summarized, or condensed.
