Hi there.
We currently have a website that is a little worse for wear, the website was used for a good year by our clients / market base but due to some uncontrollable circumstances the site is now down and unusable.
We have little knowledge of website design and building and over the past year we have lost contact with our freelancer that designed and built the website with us.
We have currently relocated our business overseas and wish to get the website up and running for this market.
We are now looking for a website designer / IT expert that can give our site the overhaul it needs, they must first look at the website and figure out why its not working ! this may be tricking with no background into our site and database structure, but this is a good test of a persons ability and skills and will tell us that the person we choose is the right candidate for the job.
As we mentioned the main item we are wanting is design overhaul, we still want to keep the core function of the site as its used by a certain type of person on a day to day basis for math calculations and costing functionality for there job, our website is used as a tool so our website MUST keep the core functionality for it too work. The website consists of a lot of math calculations and databases and these must also stay untouched in the core workings of the website.
If you are skilled in PHP and PostgreSql then this might be the job for you. Once the job is completed we would then like to keep the freelancer within our contacts for ongoing improvements and site support.

If you are contacted by us we will need to see previous work and designs. We may ask for a quick mock up to see your ideas and skill sets.
Once the freelancer has been chosen our milestones work as follows. This milestones will not be changed or altered, if you do not agree with these terms please do not bid.
10% on completion of first phase design work. ( unlimited changes before the design is set in stone)
10% on completion of full design work for 100% of the website
20% on completion of current fixes to website. ( this must be done before any design work is coded to the website)
20% on completion of any upgrades / add ons and improvements that can be done to the website.
20% on completion of coded design work to the website.
20% on completion of a fully working website 100% completed.
If the website is completed within the set time frame set by us and the freelancer, and the website is 100% in working order by the completed date we will then grant the freelancer a 10% finishing bonus. Please remember this will not be rush job or quick job the bonus will only be paid for a successful and working website to our standards.
