Customized Messaging Server Deployment EJABBERD OR OPENFIRE
Required skills: Erlang, Java, Javascript, PHP, XML
I need to get an instant messaging server deployed. This instant messaging sever will integrated into an existing mobile phone app as a medium for users to contact.
There is no need to develop a custom XMPP server just deploy any of the existing opensource solutions.
Few features that I specifically want in the deployment are
1.) Client Control ( The user should be able to login to chat server using our client for mobile only not using any existing jabber control)
2.) p2p file sharing ( The user should be able to share files from their phones) if the recipient is offline the file should be available for later download
3.)Offline Messages
4.) Chat History
5.) Database should be MySQL, Ejabberd uses Mnesia as database ( very difficult to find support staff for it)
6.) Clustering ( default in ejabbred and now released in openfire)
All these features are already implemented in the existing XMPP servers listed above. I just need proper deployment with security also in concern
I will prefer ejabbred but I am open to your suggestions also.
