html/css design for fun photo website using existing logo
Required skills: CSS, Graphic Design, HTML, Website Design
I am looking for a new design for theminegame.net (disregard current content). I would like a minimum of the homepage but ideally the homepage and a content page designed and coded in html/css using the 960 grid system with a 12 column layout. I will be converting this to an Omega subtheme to be used with Drupal at a later date so this must be kept in mind when designing aspects like the menu.
I have an existing logo which must be used (effects such as gradients, grunge, shadows etc may be added as long as the design itself is not changed) and the colour scheme should be based off this (pink, black, white and other fitting colours).
The website is for a fun game (The Mine Game) where users upload photos of themselves with attractive or ugly people while holding a card saying 'mine' or 'yours' - for more info on the game and example pictures visit facebook.com/theminegame. As such the design must reflect this 'fun' feeling. I like the idea of using subtle grunge, uneven edges, wonky styles etc.
The target audience is fun loving 18-30 year olds who are not afraid to express themselves in public!
Some examples of sites/design styles I like;
www.waiterontheway.biz - My favourite - subtle grunge effects, basic use of colours, nice menu, font, photo borders, wonky lines etc
www.kiss925.com - like the 'wonky' look, borders, bold colours, headers etc but think it looks a little too 'amateurish'
www.hai-online.com - like the bold colours, homepage slider is nice with use of arrows,
www.jeffsarmiento.com - I like the menu/header styles of this site (although for theminegame the main menu would be horizontal)
www.canyoncreekonline.com - I like this as it is not too over the top with the grunge effects
Other notes;
Headings etc should be text and horizontal as it will be a dynamic site.
Menu should be horizontal jquery superfish with a slightly grunge/'wonky' feel but not too over the top so it can easily be converted into the drupal superfish plugin at a later date
I have a couple of graphics which should be used - a cartoon strip which explains how to play the game visually (the 4 frames can be cut up and have skew/distortion effects etc added to fit the design better - more info given to winning bidder) and some t-shrit/card graphics which may be required (see wire frame attached).
Work must include full copyright ownership of the design.

As stated at the beginning, this project would need to be for a minimum of the homepage (designed and coded in html/css) but ideally I would like the homepage and an additional inner content page - as the site is photo based the content page should be the main photo page (i.e large photo, details, rating, comments, social links etc). Please let me know when bidding if your bid is for the homepage only or homepage and content page.
There may be additional work for the winning bidder, for example designing the shop pages, forum layout etc (as/when added).
I have attached a very basic wireframe example of the sort of layout I am after.
