Magento payment gateway extension - fixes needed Featured Projects, identified

We are using the following extension to process payments in Australia through Commweb (Commonwealth Bank):

The extension has an option to either 'authorise' or 'authorise and capture' credit cards. This setting affects how all purchases are processed.
However we need to determine this setting through a threshold. So for example we want orders below X amount (say, $ 300) to be Authorised & Captured while orders above that limit to only be "Authorised". In other words, we need the extension to have different settings depending on the purchase $ $ amount.
Please refer to the attached screenshot as to how the backend should potentially look like. Notice the field 'Threshold'. This would be where the administrator define the purchase amount that will determine if a credit card is only authorised or 'captured' too. The 'Action' option would no longer be needed as a combo since the extension will do both options (Authorise / Capture), depending on the $ . All else in the screenshot are the original options on the extension.
This is to be installed (thus, thoroughly tested) on Magento 1.4.2.
The selected bidder should be familiar with Magento and make these changes using Magento standards, instead of just isolated custom PHPs.
