Simple animation project for potentially popular iphone game

Hi guys
I need someone who has experience in graphic design and simple animation. I have developed a new iphone game with 3 levels, and I basically require a simple, short, animated intro scene for each level. For instance the first level of my game is where my main character goes to school, and he plays different games at the school. But before this level starts I want a short animated intro scene, where you see the main character walking to, or into school. Lol hope I am making sense. I want this kind of intro scene for each of the three levels. The second level is where he goes to the beach so I will want an short animated scene where the character walks to the beach. It's the kind of stuff you would see on some games, where before the level starts there is a short animation where it leads up to that particular level.
I have more or less finished designing the game, but I need these animated intro scenes to give it that finishing touch. Plus I don't have a clue on what my main character is going to be, and you may find that weird when I have nearly finished designing the game. The actual main character is someone you don't see in the games, you actually are the main character playing the games if you know what I mean.
So I may need this person to create the character for me when doing these short animated intro scenes. The character, should be a cartoon character with human attributes. I don't want an actual human character, but something that is cartoony and depicts human behaviour, because it will be going to school, going on vacation with parents, etc, etc The character needs to be cute, fun loving, and happy.
I want the animated frames of the character in png format, and the background scene will be of size 960px x 640px with 72dpi.

and want to port it to WIndows (and later Mac). I dont have time to do it myself so I need a developer to port the game to Windows for me. I'll be providing all the original graphics and sound from the original game. The port has to be done in C/C++ and use cross platform library like SDl or OpenGL because the second phase of the project will target Mac.
