the site works with a flash component, and mysql so experience in this are is vital

#3 - Near the top of the page is a scrolling headline. In FireFox it is fine, in IE the background is white and the text cannot be seen.
#4 - Brackets and Crosswords have lost their connection to the database. Neither are loading their content.
I will give you FTP, cPanel/phpMyAdmin access. The files are labeled properly and I'll offer my advice to which files are causing the issues.
