http://www.HotChickToys.com is a website built using an inventory text file, combined with an affiliate ID, and over 9,800 static .html files written each update with a vb.net application.
Embarrassingly 'old school', I know.

Time for your help!
I'd like a .php script so that I can upload the tab delimited inventory text file to the server, it empties MySQL data tables and then reloads them with the latest information, and the website becomes dynamic .php / MySQL instead of static .html.
At this time the search box doesn't even work. To be able to search for products should be easy and is part of the project.
The inventory file to create the tables can be found here: http://www.HotChickToys.com/ee.txt (approx 17mb)
I'd like to have a simple .css file to skin the site based upon the current layout. That way I can make easy changes later (add a blog, etc.)
Because it's an affiliate site, all of the links back to Entertainment Earth should end with &id=ST-605090684
Example:

becomes:
http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TM348493&id=ST-605090684
I suspect that this should be a really quick and easy project for you...
By the way, I'm currently uploaded the revised .html catalog files to the site, so it not all of the links will be working for the next FOUR HOURS. Definately inspiration to modernize the darned thing.

We will discuss the other requirements privately. Once again most of the site has been created, we just need you to come in and add the scripting. I will personally do some scripting to keep the cost down and speed the process up. We need the programming completely separate from HTML so we can easily pull out blocks of PHP code and place them into other templates.

Mashup to pull affiliate content from 7 providers in PHP
arch could figure out I'm looking for "Wal-Mart" (two words without the trailing "s") that would be a really big plus in determining who is chosen for this project but is not required. This script is intended to be implemented into a high traffic production environment so as quick & efficient as possible is desired.
