I have an XML feed: http://search.espn.go.com/searchapi/resultsXMLWith300?searchString=NFL&dims=7 and I'd like to parse it in the following way:

XML parsing and Prepared Statement calls
esponse parameters list for each query. At runtime execute a Prepared Statement using SQL from XML file, by connecting to database.
Using Java Reflection API, map the response from the Prepared Statement execution to one or more Java Objects. There can be multiple Objects in response, and result needs to be returned as ArrayList.

Php/mysql Xml Parsing Project
are reports that are already processed by the system. Each report will be linked to it's xml so that we can easily separate them. Even though the data for each xml will be stored in 1 table the reports will still be separated. Once the report is pulled it gets saved on the file server so that we don't need to pull it again from the database.
e. A summary Report which will give us a total of how many orders we got with total dollar amounts. See file attached.

The script needs to be able to handle all major American sports (football, basketball, baseball, hockey).
This is a rather complicated project as the PHP script needs to be able to handle a great variety of XML formats, some of which can be frustrating and difficult to parse.
We would like to be able to use this script in the future to easily add or update our XML parsing abilities.

Convert C# To Php - Xml-parsing
code reads and parses an xml feed containing paths to remote image files.
It then checks the local filesystem for existing copies of the images, downloads the image files to the file system if it doesn't exist, and then writes an xml file with the local paths of the newly downloaded images.
The script also deletes any local image files older than 7 days.
The resulting local xml file and images are then used in an instance of the JWPlayer ImageRotator.
