Children's book illustrator / cartoonist

I'm looking for a great illustrator to work with on a children's eBook we have created. There will be approximately 30 pages to the book with some kind of illustration on all pages. We also need a front and back cover included. Your quote will be for this noe book only. Please, no "logo" designers on this job, I need an illustrator who has done books/comics/storyboards before!
We are at the beginning of a very exciting launch and need to work with some excellent, responsive and skilled talent.
There is a load of work coming for this character set, the book is just the first; we'll need someone who can freehand-illustrate and weave "real-life" into sketches (a bit like Charlie and Lola), caricature, cartoon illustrate, sketch new ideas quickly for approval. Any experience/skills in moving animation and Adobe a great advantage.
Fantastic spoken and written English is essential as there will be much communication for the successful bidder. If you don't quote "MNL/03317/D" in your reply it will mean that you can't communicate and I won't even look at your bid.
Copyright for the designs created for all characters in the book will remain mine (the company's) once done and we will be using the characters, theme and all aspects of the design on other platforms, comics, website, blogs and any other literature or media in the future. By responding to this project you will be agreeing to this. If you do not agree to this, please do not respond.

Proposal Childrens Book Illustration
rlfriend and need an illustrator to put help the book come to fruition. It is a story of our lives together and needs illustration. I see the style of the book as a children’s book. There are 11 pages that will need pictures as well as a cover illustration. I would prefer someone with Childrens book experience as help with the copy may also be needed.

re to be delivered as illustrator files and will serve as both materials to be used in a printed and published book, as well as elements to be used by animators to create a children’s animation from the drawings and illustrations, so, individual elements, characters, backgrounds will need to be organized and delivered on a disk and or via FTP to the production company Smart Media L.L.C.. The project is to be completed by February 2012.

Unfortunately I have had trouble learning, and really need someone to source or create a landscape page flip transition/animation similar to how the ipad books page flip or curl. I have included a page from the first book I created and each app would have around 7 pages.
So please quote for a simple sample project in Xcode. If you could also integrate some audio for each page that I cold later edit / replace in xcode.

eat twist at the end. It would be a moral story, teaching patience. Therefore the title "Be Paient" I would prefer to have it family oriented with easy to illustrate scenes, but total freedom is given to the writer. I do not need illustrations at this stage. You would need to come up with the story the plot and the conclusion. Word format would be great.

We are interested in having a 54 page childrens book recreated from scans that we have in order to print it. We would like the pages preferably in vector format so that we can do further editing, unless you know of a simpler way. Each page is fairly detailed and more than likely will include a number of cartoon characters. This project also needs to be done ASAP as the printing process will take additional time. The story is about a housefly and it's interaction with an airplane jet both interior and exterior, so you must be able to render these two objects well.
The final project will be completed in several phases: Initial storyboard with rough sketches in pencil then final inked drawings.
