Automatic logout after leaving password protected area (WP)

I have a Wordpress site, and I have one page password-protected. The way this functionality is built is that Wordpress doesn't log the user out for a long time.
I need this to be changed so that the user is logged-out when the tab or browser closes, and also after a determined period of time (30 minutes would be ideal). The user should also not be able to hit the "back" button and have access to that page without re-entering their password.
The code you write must be cross-browser and platform compatible, and ideally it will be code which I can reuse on other sites.
I will not give you the Wordpress password for implementation on my site, so you will need to explain to me how to implement the code.

tabase abstraction would be fine, but if you plan to use any 3rd party libraries (including PEAR modules) please let me know before starting the project.
Try to separate PHP code from the presentation HTML markup as much as possible. I do not need web design, presentation graphics, etc. I shall do it later myself. I need basic, unrefined templates to test the PHP script now and to make them fancy later, without worrying too much about embedded PHP code.

Password protected area for website

There will be a large group of websites that I'll want password protected. Is there a way you can set up a cookie or something so that the person doesn't have to keep typing in username / password? Also, I'll be making frequent updates and adding pages to the members section, so I'll need to know how to add the code that password protects a website.

1) Be able to categorized "preffered customers" from registered users in admin area
2) Create Password Protected area only for " Peffered customers to log in and used COD Feature.
3)Add shipping module base the weight/distance or city calculation
4)plug-in credit Authorisation company

Password protected category in OpenCart 1.4.9
ituation and below that, a password field and "Enter" button. If the customer enters the correct password, they are allowed into the category and the allowance is added to a cookie so they don't get asked every time they need to enter the category, if they enter the wrong password, they should be directed back to the same page but shown an error.

I require a website to be built that hosts google earth, and over 500 geocoded kml files . The website will be password protected.

I have an existing Magento site. I need to add a password protected store with two categories, up to 20 subcategories in each. For now all products are in English, but the site should be able to support multiple languages. Some products are downloadable and the authorized users must be able to download multiple products at the same time.
