Hi,
We would like to design a gps tracker. It should consist of the following processor:
GSM module
GPS module
Processor- Atmel/ARM/other.
Solar panel- we will supply
The GPS module will provide the output and send to the processor to process the data so that the server will recognised the data. It will send to the GSM module to transmit via gprs in TCP/IP protocol. Are you capable to designing this circuit. I have my own PCBA maker to produce for me. The tracker must comes with 3 digital input and 2 digital output. The design works on 3v as most gsm/gps modules can work well in this range. The tracker must support 4 sim cards but only 1 gsm will be used at one time. Pls qoute me your rough designing fees
I have other projects as well. if your designing fees is reasonable.
I will need you to make 2 samples as prototype to test before going for production

tracker will be in sleep mode all time, and wake up after periodic intervals and look for tracking request.
In sleep mode it should consume least battery in such way that it will run continuously on 1100mAh battery
for atleast one year.

Hardware Design/PCB Layout & Validation
en prepare PCB design in 2 to 4 layers. The designer should be capable of validating the design based on the established norms or recommendation of the component manufacturers. The first job involves designing of PCB having SIMCOM Gsm Module Model 900A and GPS module based on the available schematic. We will prefer a designer who has understanding of the functioning of the gsm/gps modules and relevant care to be taken in such design.

Software could have a settings page ; for update URL, username, password, sending period (30second-1hour) (user name will be device imei number)
and a small language file.
If you can handle to send data to server, we handle rest. we can create gateway or listener for incoming data from android.
