track GPS location by SMS or wifi to Google Map/Earth server
Required skills: Software Architecture
If connected to wifi send email, if no wifi available the gps tracker sends SMS with location to a pre-set email address, or sms mobile-phone number. When received the location is plotted to google earth/map.
Groups of users can be viewed by a pre-set administrator while a Super Administrator will be able to see all groups.
Data is to be stored by monile phone number (SMS) or mac address (Wifi) from where it is sent out. date-time-location co-ordinates.
We need a java or similar application which would extract longitude and latitude from the last incoming SMS message and display that location in google maps on the PC pinpointing the exact location sent by GPS tracker.
Purpose of this simple application would be avoiding, manual extraction of lat long coordinates from the sms and typing "maps.google.com" by user and the and then textual typing the longitude and latitude to get visual location on the map as pre-set by groups.
Application should work on:
a. PC/laptop WITH windows Xp and Win 7
b. Android appliances,Mobile-phones and tablets
c. IPhone
d Windows Mobile OS
The administrators can switch the reporting ON or OFF from the base-station. As able, the administrotor will only set the group settings, while the super user can activate one, group or all users to reportingON - Reporting OFF
Time Locks: the sms sent from control room to a mobile phone and also from mobile to control room are time/date stamps automatically.

administrators can view one or all group reports
System to be on VB.NET and Windows 2008 server 64 bit.
Data to be stored on MSWin SBS 2011 (winServ2008) MS-sqL
Administrors and Users : Both can take photos and send them time-stamped and location-coordinates, to control centre where they are stored in MSsql.
In all cases if wifi signal is available, wifi will be used from communications using DDNS.org , if no signal or no connection for x seconds, then sms is sent.
the server side will have the option to send email our to pre-set email addresses of all sms/wifi emails received to the group administrator. So groups are to be setup with users allocated to them, where ONLY administrators will have access to their GROUPS data and EMAILS.
so the applications would be:
1. Windows 2008 R2 server software for control room- Administrotors will only have access to their group of users, while super-Administrotor will be able to see all users in all groups,
2. client for.
PC/laptop WITH windows Xp and Win 7
b. Android appliances,Mobile-phones and tablets
c. IPhone
d Windows Mobile OS
This project is intended for developers who already have experience in similar projects. Programmers without experience on such projects will be unable to stick to the time frames.

coupons. For example, in www.Jabbertise.com; they can click and print one coupon. I would rather have them click on multiple coupons and print all at the same time. So,it is similar to a shopping cart, but all they are doing is sending coupon to a target page/location that they can print.

3)When start the application - prompt to open an android browser with url set by me(in the source code of app).

iPhone GPS location retreival
ed, i want the street name, town, postal code retrieved via coordinates? or any other means, im not an expert on how to get this done.
Once information on location is retreived i want it saved on a database as per customer request.
So if the customer wishes to check his previous locations per hour, he would be able to bring up a history of locations in past 24hrs + or longer/shortest by 1hr or 30mins set by customer/user.
