Quick Mod Rewrite job, clean URLs through htaccess

I need some help with rewriting URLs for a small new website - mod rewrite using .htaccess, clean URLs.
About five different types of pages/URLs on the site to rewrite.

My site is designed in ASP.net. Does anyone know how to use mod rewrite, so my URLs come out looking like certain folder names.
For example, this URL:

Should look like this:

Htaccess 301 Redirect. From Dynamic To Static

Quick Htaccess Mod Rewrite
ne above, excepf for the subdomain. When the "seattle" subdomain link is accessed, the long URL should load with the same variable at the end. And, of course, the "seattle" subdomain link is the only thing that should show up in the browser URL window.
We have set up a "seattle" subdomain on our server. I don't know if this is actually necessary for the rewrite, but it's there.

All regions share same content. The only thing different is the

mod rewrite .htaccess mod_rewrite
I have a website that has some pretty unfriendy urls
I need someone to make a .htaccess file and the mod rewrite code so that I can have pretty search engine friendly urls.
All of the site links are similar so variables would need to be used so that as I add new members that their links would also use the new format.
I still want the links that are there to work so that I would not break the existing search engine links.

Mod Rewrite Dynamic Subdomain
is no longer showing the url relative to the subdomain which is what I want.
i.e. The location bar shows

http://www.domain.com/xxxxx/index.php?prodname=yyyyyy
**********
instead of
**********
http://xxxxx.domain.com/yyyyyy.html

which is what I need.
I'm thinking this would take someone with solid Apache experience just a few minutes. I need clean documented code that works asap.
i.e. The location bar shows

Rewrite URLs in HTAccess file
Need immediate assistance to rewrite engine for urls in the htaccess file. We have redone the website and removed from the CMS system (espression engine). Rewrite would be, as an example:
www.website.com/file/ to a file.php location
approximately 10 urls to redirect.

Get Mod Rewrite to work on Windows 2008 w/IIS7 like on Linux

Query String is the default setting. Mod Rewrite only works on an Apache server.

Mod Rewrite Help
2) I need to add 1 more rule, however this one is a bit tricky. Currently, the url is being called by: <?PHP echo $ item['href'];?>"> from another file. I can't seem to figure out how this file is actually pulling the url, so you'll have to do some research, then make the rewrite rule.
Should be a fairly easy job, so please keep your bid reasonable. Any questions, open a pm.

I don't to include the number like sid=8, I only the name of my page...
