General sample code required in JAVA  

i need an intranet mailing system with just the basics like"checkmail" "sendmail" etc.
Nothing too fancy,just the basic functions for a mailing system that works only within a network.
and also an explanation(documentation) of the the main functions of the code.
preferable in java but c++ would also be accepted.thanks

expect you to do basic unit testing with all properties and show examples of usage, along with the preparation of a basic spec, describing the functionality with some screenshots.
