Hello Freelancers!

My firm has been hired to perform some maintenance on a simple Ruby on Rails website. We do not have RoR proficiencies on staff so I appeal to you for your assistance!

Some contingencies:

- All work performed will be done so under our company's brand (Powered by: etc.)
- You may not use the work performed in online portfolios or client lists, etc.
- Any client contact will be done so under our branding

If these terms are agreeable then please read on!

The site is basic and has only four pages. In the interest of privacy I haven't posted the URL but will provide the web address to bidders if I'm interested in your bid.

The client would like:

- some of the content changed on each page
- two pages added (with content insertion)
- a field added to a conversion form
- there is a video on the home screen. The client would like the image before the video to be changed
- some basic formatting changes to images and content
- some small image insertion (no more than ten to fifteen images)

Important notes:

All content is ready to go and will be provided upon contract execution.

The site is hosted on heroku.com (any past experience or knowledge of heroku.com is a plus)

All changes MUST be completed by this coming Wednesdsay (4.13.2011) by 12:00pm (MST)

As you can see there is nothing exceptionally high level and the project is pretty straight forward. Please provide me with a cost and turnaround time.

Ruby On Rails Site To Find Missing Mobile Phones

This project is a ruby on rails site to find missing mobile phones (android and blackberry only).

Design images are provided and it needs these features:

alarm

erase all data

detect attached bluetooth devices

Solr search optimisation of Ruby on Rails site

n, etc. So, in that sense, whilst it's Rails, it almost doesn't need someone who can do Rails. It needs someone who's done a fair bit of this solr tweaking already to make recommendations as to what works best.

We'd also need a 'quick reference sheet' done that could just advise how we could push up or down the boosting different fields, etc.

So... this job won't necessarily take very long, as it's 95% implemented. It's far more about being a solr guru.

Ruby on Rails site needs update and move

ite is not working. I want to replace that with a working contact form either using ruby or google apps. I also want to create a new content section to my site entitled Tables with a contact form (can use google apps for that also).

There are a few other minor fixes that I want that I will discuss with you. If you understand ruby on rails it should not be difficult at all or take much time.

Ruby on Rails - New Server Setup Help

I have the rails app moved and set up in cPanel, I also have the database moved and restored in cpanel.

I need help running Rake commands, setting rewrites, and getting the site to run on the new server.

press site and also a Ruby on Rails site, what I want to be able to do is have the word press site display a link from my ruby on rails site. Site urls will be on PMB.

The link on the word press site that says models should open up the page from the ruby site that says models.

Please explain how this will be done along with your bid, I need to make sure that the page displays correctly on word press and does not just open the entire ruby site on a frame or iframe.
