An Adsense ready travel Portal + online comminity features

**I'm open to any suggestion or a bid beyond my budget range as long as it's innovative and will enhance adversiting earnings, otherwise I hope to keep the budget of this project under USD500**
I'm looking to set up a travel portal, the key resqusts are as follows:
1.Landing page(Reference websites:http://www.lonelyplanet.com/ and http://www.hostels.com/) :
The user interface on the landing page is basically similiar to Lonelyplanet.com and hostel.com, will need one or two slideshows and custom buttons, but overall, the whole landing page is kept as clean as possible except for necessary advertisements and featured pictures. The landing page must presents a visible search bar that aims at all the travel information within the wesite, itineraries posted by our members or travel agencies.
2.This website must be adsense ready, I'm not familiar with web advertising, will need advice from a professional in terms of money making tips and ad space arrangement. However, I wish to put less advertisements on the landing page than other sections.
3.Travel planning guide: I'm looking to build a guide supported by free online members, here's how it works:
As a foreign tourist(a registered member) posts his purpose of the trip, date, favorite destinations to visit, number of tourists...etc, another member will be able to write a travel plan for him/her according to a standard format, I'm not sure how to display these threads on my website so that they won't look messy, because I'm not hoping to use a traditional text based forum, it's better to put a small space on the landing page displaying the latest visitors requesting a travel consultation and the latest finished travel plans, the space will automatically scroll down for more information.
4.Personalized member page: Requested functions: Adding other memers as a friend, on the member page, you may see a number of online users in the display picture form, I want it to be dynamic, either auto change per a few seconds or like a breaking new banner. Emails, Live chat, Progress report, Reviews.....etc, these things should be common and I don't mind you using plugins or any ready to use solution, as long as the theme and layout are cutom and consistent with the landing page, the most important of all, keep this project within the budget as hard as you can.
5. Platform and database: I personally prefer to use Wordpress in terms of the look and ease of use
6.Billing system and donation section: I want to keep this section as simple as possible, by add some ready to use
Paypal and credit card plugins is enough.
