We are conducting a review of products available in the Australian market in the category of skincare and related products, and have identified 18 brands/companies that we wish to research in greater detail.
Our first step is to undertake as much online research as we can, with a clear set of questions to obtain the answers for, and we are most likely to find everything it is possible to obtain from the Australian website operated by these companies.
There is a list of around 45 possible product categories that any one particular manufacturer may have within their product range.
Each product that is identified has the same series of questions to answer, in a template format.
We anticipate that of the 45 possible products most companies will have only a proportion of these, so the total estimate is for there to be around 500 templates to be completed.
Your location is unimportant, as long as you are able to access Australian websites freely (a list of the targeted companies is below). All source material will be in English and the reports must also be in English.
Experience in some form of systematic online research, comparison and reporting is important. Experience or training in a field related to marketing or communication would be a distinct advantage and would allow you to answer some questions very easily.
The critical skills are to be well organized, systematic and thorough, and to be able to quickly synthesize the information online then summarize this very quickly.
The attachment provides greater details of the requirements, as well as a list of the target companies and the product categories, and gives a sample of the answer template for each product.
