I have a site www.replicaonlinebags.co the script and the ecommerce software is OS Commerce V2.2 which is very old and not good these days. I would like to switch from OS Commerce V2.2 to Magento 1.4 all the admins are to be configured correctly. As for regarding the theme we won't be using the same theme as currently. I will send you the theme to install and you can put the same database on it and configure the rest. It will be done as a side work for example at www.replicaonlinebags.co/magento when the site is 100% done we will then swift the files etc to the main site www.replicaonlinebags.co the reason to do this so that it doesnt affect the sales while you are completing the migration to Magento 1.4

osCommerce to Magento Migration (few stores)
products will need a description added, some of which will require some html rectification.
so in nutshell, what you have to do is:
1) setup 2 magento stores in multi store setup. (already have two magento templates ready)
2) transfer the products, categories, manufacturers from oscommerce to magento

hey i have a site (negrielectronics) which I need moved from oscommerce to magento. i believe there are automated tools to do this, as we have over 1500 products and many customers (around 9000 i think).
I need the site to look exactly the same when moved over (very minor changes may be allowable, we'll see), with all products and user accounts correctly in place.

* Need some way of having some pre defined text fields that we can link to in the product descriptions.
* Eg we can link 50 products to this bit of text/code so then if we need to change the text on those 50 product listings we can do it once and change the global variable rather than changing 50 times on each individual page
