Primary Task: Debug existing new Joomla/Joomdle/Moodle educational website with Virtumart.
Website is small. It currently has 4 classes. It is 98% functional but has some configuration bugs between Joomla and Moodle.
Function flow is this:
Joomla registration - adds new user to Moodle users as well DONE
Joomla log-in DONE
User purchases classes via Virtuemart with credit card/Paypal ??DONE BUT SLOW PROCESSING suspected php error.
Email confirmation to admin and user DONE
Moodle Classes purchased become accessible to student user in My Courses on user Front page HAS BUG
Moodle keeps track of grades and completion of class. ??DONE evaluate
Upon completion of class a certificate is emailed to student, License Authority, and admin (custom
function) 66% DONE needs added custom email
There is an issue in the user module that hides PW from admin. We need a report capability for admin that
includes some fields that the native module encrypts (SS# number and PW) NEW - NOT DONE
2nd project
Install onsite blog capability for member students on site (no off site access)
Evaluate overall design for speed, functionality and appearance. (Moodle is pretty ugly)
Thus, we are looking for someone who can occasionally advise as well as provide ongoing tweaks or ad-on
modules as needed.
This should be an easy job for someone who knows what he is doing with Moodle/Joomla and a nightmare for
anybody who isn't.
Requirement: Each bidder HAS to show proof of previous work with moodle or other learning open source
platform like blackboard. Familiarity with Joomdle would be helpful as it is the interface between Moodle
and Joomla.
