Move Virtuemart Data To New Server
Required skills: MySQL, PHP, SQL, Virtuemart
I have a test site and Virtuemart data From 1 Joomla 1.5.2.2 install site on SERVER #1 that I would like to move to a new server. The live site on SERVER #2 is setup in a sub-directory now and can be moved to the root prior to your beginning.
Both are running php 5 and are hosted within a go daddy reseller account.
This is NOT a full joomla server move, just the virtuemart data. Unless for some reason it is easier for you to move the entire site at once, either way is fine for me. It just needs to be done with minimal downtime to the site.
I wil give you login to php myadmin for SERVER #1 and SERVER #2 for you to get the data exported and imported into SERVER #2. Also, I will give you a temp admin to the joomla sites as well. I have CSVI for Virtuemart installed on both servers, but it is not working out. Tried to import using the php myadmin and got no product information and duplicate category fields on the front end.
For a database pro this is an easy one, I am just not quite as comfortable in that environment just yet.
Please bid a reasonable quote and let's get this done. I am seeking a good coder to help with other Joomla and Virtuemart projects over time and hoping to find a great one that is flexible, affordable, and honest. Thank you!!

ALSO, both servers are identical, as are the versions of joomla and virtuemart. No converting needed.

The installation is still there so you can delete it and try yourself or try to troubleshoot what she installed.

tten in Perl on CGI. Data is stored on text files. This is a bespoke package where you are able to select options and input text. Output is onto two different language templates, with filter and search functions. Website was created several years ago.
The current hosting server is old and we would like to transfer the website, which is live and working, onto a new server. Although we have transferred the files, coding must be edited to work on the new server.
