oomla GZip is working somewhat by I have heard that server-side mod_deflate will be much faster given the server resources available. Other optimizations such as PHP memory settings I would also like looking at and anything else you know about that I with my very limited knowledge do not!

anyone who can setup PHP server on Ubuntu 10.10 server.

to be setup as if it were fully setup from the hosting company.

currently there is Cpanel WHM installed so it might make some of this easy for someone who knows what they are doing.

also we will need a custom nameserver setup on this server.

I have a new server with WHM. I need the server set up, hardened and optimized. Need IP's, zend, ioncube etc etc.

not add new mysql databases from Cpanel
2. make sure cpanel is configured correctly and up to date
3. install and configure wordpress
4. setup ftp access
5. create htaccess rules to rewrite from .aspx pages to wordpress pages (i.e. test.aspx needs to be rewritten to /test/)

I am running an ubuntu server with ispconfig 3 . A freelancer deleted a website that can't be find anbywhere now.
Can't find as well any ispconfig recycle bin. Can sombody recover this site or even a single backup file that was in the same folder

We need all the necessary components installed to host Drupal and Wordpress websites with ffmpeg.

We will also need a control panel like webmin install to help manage our sites.

This is something that will be needed ASAP.
