We are developing a single-player and multi-player game site.
We are using Smart Fox Server 2 which uses Java as the programming language. Our database backend is MySQL v5
We require to implement a few simple Server Side Extensions on Smart Fox Server which will be called by the flash games.
We are looking for small specialized team with the following qualifications:
- Experience on Smart Fox Server and Java is a must!
- Very good understanding of performance, scalability and concurrency matters is a must!
- Good programming practices and a clean coding approach is desired.
Below is a list of High Level Specifications for the required Server Side Extensions.
note: for each function, we will provide you with the required SQL sentence that needs to be executed.
1) Login Extrension
1.a) handleInternalEvent : loginRequest
Check username & password with MySQL database. The password is stored in the following format (Joomla format).
“passwordHash : salt”
Where paswordHash is the MD5 hash of the password concatenated to the salt.
Example:
665bc23b21b699e9c5ba5bd73fc392b0 : 123abc = hash(bunnies+123abc) + :123abc
2) Match Extension

A Server side login system
it can be Visual basic to C++ and if i can slap it into my programs with no problem would be nice.
So (User) starts software ask for login (Name){PassWord} (user) submits data to server database if user name and password match what is on server then OK if not then No entry to software.

PDF server side scripting
I need a server side application in php that will allow admin to add specific header data to an existing pdf on the server and then regenerate new pdf.
I will most likely need to use an existing PDF API.

Detailed specification for a J2ME GPS app and a Server Side app
using for about 3 years. You'll also develop server side code up on our Linux server to communicate with the J2ME app. You may create the server side code in any language you like that runs on Linux.

I am looking for a programmer to build 2 web pages confirming server-side speech functions are working on my site. Nothing fancy (yet). One page will demonstrate text to speech and the other page will demonstrate speech to text.
