Seeking a cartoon illustrator in pen & ink to accompany our young adult action/war book. Cartoon style requested is like the old fashion Commando Comics (see www.commandocomics.com). This project is for the first cartoon which is to be in color and used to as cover for the book. Book Scene the illustration will accompany
"Then like an airborne cavalry they heard the loud “ROAR” of approaching helicopters. The chattering sound of the door gunners was fearsome and effective. Over the top of the trees the 2 Blackhawks emerged coming in for a hard landing to extract the patrol. SASBoy threw his blue smoke grenade he had been saving for this occasion to mark the LZ (landing zone). The patrol all started moving toward and onto the helo as the rate of fire from the enemy had hardly slowed."
There is alot of scope for creativity on what is possible.
Subject to quality and cost our intention is to have 10 black and white action cartoon illustrations throughout the book and converting existing technical drawings into consistant cartoon style
