An established 5 year old new media company is looking for an experienced programmer to complete its new website – which is 90% finished. We are trying to roll out a new feature rich website with enhanced CMS allowing customers to become members and search the site for data. The other goal is to make it easy for non-technical staff members to update content. The design is complete along with most of its functions. We’re looking for a programmer to finish the job as well as debug some of the existing code. This is a well thought out project all of the documentation will be made available – no guesswork here. Must be proficient in HTML, CMS, ASP, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. You will be working remotely via the internet. This is a terrific opportunity for the independent freelance programmer or someone who is looking for an extra project to supplement income. This is a part/time contract position though the company has many other opportunities for an ongoing relationship.

I am open to suggestions regarding the use of other framworks such as CakePHP and RubyonRails. I don't have any knowledge about these programming languages, but could see some benefits by using them, specially for scalability. If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know or have any language knowledge you think will improve the application.

I use www.volusion.com online shopping cart with built-in templates for web design. However, i have custom html/css template built that I need integrated into www.volusion.com.
