We are looking for Administrators. They will have contact with customers to assist in troubleshooting and maintaining complex web server configurations. Linux Server technicians must have an extensive knowledge of web hosting technologies of Linux/Unix operating systems, and are able to handle over 90% of all customer issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service at all times.
* Monitor customer tickets.
* Ensure that all tickets are handled within appropriate timeframes.
* Escalate tickets as needed.
* Serve as an escalation point for lower level support technicians.
Skills Sets:
1. Any Graduate with Computer/ IT Specialization or Diploma in Computers
2. Experienced in related hardware/software and system technologies.
3. Knowledge of Web hosting control panel, Plesk , Cpanel, Hsphere
4. Knowledge of Linux/windows operating system.
5. Knowledge of Web servers (Apache, IIS), Database Servers (Mysql, MSSQL),
Mail Server (Qmail, Exim, IIS SMTP, Mail enable), DNS Servers (Bind) etc.
6. Knowledge of server side scripting languages like PHP 4 /5, Perl, cgi, Shell scripting etc.
7. MCSE's / RHCE's/ CCNA's preferred.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills
9. Experience in Web Hosting Company will be an added advantage
