3D Model of Infant (12mo old) in Crawling Position
Required skills: 3D Rendering, 3ds Max, CAD/CAM, Maya, Solidworks
We need a 3D/CAD model of a 12 month old child (95 percentile) in crawling position. The dimensions of girth and length shall be governed by anthropometric data that will be supplied to the chosen contractor. The model may be created by modifying an existing model as long as it does not violate/infringe on the rights of the original creator. We would prefer that the model be a closed NURBS surface as opposed to polygons. The model will be used in Solidworks, so the contractor needs to make sure that the NURBS surface will import into Solidworks with no errors. No textures are required, just the 3d model. The model shall be supplied in a format fully compatible with Solidworks, such as IGES, STEP, parasolid, etc. Again, here are the job requirements:

* Closed (watertight) NURBS surface preferred.
* Model must have no errors when imported into solidworks.
We've attached a picture of a picture of a real infant in the approximate position that we want the model to be in. We've also attached a screen shot of a model that is similar in quality to what we're looking for.

ask is to build a detailed 3D model and provide both the model and animated rendering as video file. I prefer that you use Blender 2.5, but if you prefer other software, I can accept it as well. It is a fairly simple project for someone experienced in 3D modeling since there is nothing challenging.

If you want to show the texture through a smooth node, great, but show the non-smoothed version as well. For approvals I need four views in wireframe on shaded mode using a non smoothed mesh (because that is what the game engine will display) and one view with the new model on top of the flagship to view the match. Then we can move on to textures.
