We have two requirements.
Requirement 1: We need to display specific columns in the Windows Explorer Details View by running a non-visible script, instead of manually selecting the columns by right-clicking on the existing column header.
The input to your program is a string containing the path of a specific folder, such as “C:test_folder”, and followed by the desired column names together with their width values in pixels, for example, “Name:300, Author:200, Title:250, Subject:350” etc., in the specified sequence, delimited by a comma.
Your output is: When the script is called, the desired columns are displayed in the specified folder Explorer window.
We prefer a VB script for integration into another program. (An executable written in another language such as C++ may also be acceptable.) The program needs to work on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
Requirement 2: The problem: In Windows Vista and Windows 7, the user can no longer enter document properties such as “Author”, “Title” etc., in the Windows Explorer Details View for file types such as PDF, TXT, HTML, etc. Solution needed: We need a Windows Shell Extension program for Windows Vista and Windows 7 that, once installed on the computer, can enable these metadata fields in the Windows Explorer for the above file types and other non-Microsoft Office documents.
The above two requirements can be separate projects or be combined as a single project if you are able to solve both problems. Please indicate whether you are bidding for one or both.

A parameter will also be specified with the server list to state whether to continue with the script or end if that particular server fails to restart.

I need a shell/perl script (preferably a shell script). It will run on a host machine and logon remotely to a number of servers and read a file and store that information in the home directory of the user on the host machine. It will run as root as use an ID to logon to boxes without a password (ssh-keys).

The difference is that:
1. User must be able to change available column names (for example, to use the extension in a different language). It is fine if it is done during setup, or better if it can be done latter at any time.

Windows server monitoring script
We require a simple script written in vbs which is to monitor the output of a webpage on our windows server,

Simple windows power management script
I need a script that writes to a log file the event when my Windows laptop switches from AC power to battery power and battery power to AC power.

do believe the solution is a hack the "caption" function. As such, said hack/plug-in must be able to do the following:
1. Pull graphic watermark from a file on my local drive
2. Allow me to place it anywhere on the video
3. Allow me to set the time that the watermark appears
4. Allow me to set transparency of the graphic/logo (if possible)
