Google Earth map embed problem

I have a simple GE map that only contains a single placeholder, and I need to embed it into my WP site.
I am currently using XML Google Maps plugin for WP, which works fine except the map displays at the wrong eye altitude.
I have tried GoogleEarth Tours plugin for WP, that doesnt even render. And I have tried using Google's KML Embed Gadget, which only results in an enless loading cycle.
I am happy with the XML plugin, but the eye altitude is a big problem. I need it to display with an altitude of 8.12km, if you visit http://makecdcover.net/?page_id=4 you will see it is displaying far too close to the ground, and my client is very specific about the region that needs to be shown.
Attached is the KMZ file so you can see how it displays in google earth (the right way!) The range is correctly set in the KMZ and I dont understand why it is not rendering correctly when viewed via WP plugin or in the KML gadget.
I'm not fussy about how this irritating little problem is solved, just the end result.
I have $ 20 for this project and hope someone can provide me with a quick fix. Today preferably.

Google Earth KML Developer with Timeline Experience Needed
