Project: Custom Social Network with mobile Geo tagging of members and "friends".
Overview: Custom social network with additional mobile functionality where members can look on their smart phone (iphone, android, etc) and see a local map which shows the live location of the members and their “friends”. The user can configure for privacy to show their identity along with their pin to friends, or to only to select friends. The default setting is a generic pin with limited personal identity notification, but will include other data. Must be able to create the custom social network and integrate mobile app capability and geo tagging.
Successful candidate must have prior experience in all above areas, and have the ability to discuss the relative merets of various open source applications.
Candidate must be able to fully develop and support application development through all phases of consultation, design, testing and implementation. Need someone who can be the tech back end solution.
