This project is part of more complex project and the winner of this first part can get it all (all modules). The project starts from ticketing and inventory management application. For the pre-qualified workers and companies additional data will be available (draft specs, and later for the winner full specs).
The bidder should include delivery time. Experienced workers specially with knowledge and know-how on similar projects are preferred. Intensive communication should be expected. Platform must be Java. Db and Os can be proposed be worker. Customization of already existing applications/platforms is also acceptable.
Basic info:
Ticketing system: should be application for communication between customers and support center. Customers report problems and issues trough the ticketing system. Support answers the questions and solves the problem. Once the problem is solved, ticket is closed.
Inventory system: should be targeted for smb market. System should give opportunity to create invetory of parts, products and assist in inventory management. The complete process of one item (entering on stock, storage, leave stock) should be followed in the system. Also, users should be able to define more than one stock. Items parameters should be flexible, like one item can be counted by quantity, one by weight (kg, l, oz), etc.
Both systems must be programmed in java.

We use channeladvisor to handle all of our marketplaces sales, then use shipworks to process the shipping labels. We need a third inventory application to connect to channeladvisor or shipworks to keep track which items has been sold or shipped and substract the order SKU qty from the inventory and it will have all other sales, accounting, and inventory functions like netsuite, quickbook, peachtree had.

We want it with different security levels also. I must have total control while people in store only see what they need to see. I think for someone who is pretty familiar with Access, this would be a fairly simple project. If you have any past experience in doing something like this and have some examples of your work to show, that would be a major plus.
