Setup Mirror Windows Web Server with DNS Automatic Failover
Required skills: .NET, DNS, SQL, System Admin, Windows Server
We are running a Web Server with ASP pages and SQL Server 2008 on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition. We are looking for an efficient solution to mirror the Web Server and SQL Server with automatic failover from the principal server. We will be hosting the mirror web server and mirror SQL server on dedicated servers hosted at different locations.
Part A: Mirroring the Web Server.
Mirroring of the web Server can be done by adding primary and secondary name servers in the DNS control panel. When the principal web server fails, DNS name server automatically routes the traffic to the secondary web server.
Also, we would like to have a script to simultaneously push the updated files from the test server to both the principal web server and mirror web server.
Part B: Mirroring the SQL Server
Mirroring of the SQL server 2008 can be done using SQL Server’s built-in high safety automatic failover Mirror Utility. We can use a witness server to make sure the principal SQL server and the secondary SQL servers are synchronized. When there is failover of the principal SQL server, secondary mirror server shall automatically seamlessly take over the functions of the database. Later, when the principal server is restored, the data from the mirror server shall be synched with the principal server and principal server shall take over the function of the database. If possible, the mirror SQL server shall also act as load balancing mirror server.
After the mirror web server and mirror SQL servers are installed, they shall be tested to make sure that the automatic failover works smoothly when the principal server fails and vice versa.
We have hosted the principal and the mirror servers on dedicated servers at different locations and will provide you the remote access details.
You can either quote the combined price for the total project (Part A and Part B ) as described above or quote the price for only Part A or Part B, depending upon your expertise and experience.

setup mac snow leopard server for small web server

I require it setup as a fully operational small web server with 1 domain already registered pointed at the server and being found so i can host 1 small website also setup email,vpn,all dns settings set so my users can find my network via the web.
I have set up port forwarding on the router.
I understand the basics but don't have much time to do it myself.

Create and Maintain Mirror SQL Server / Web Server - DBA
r is used as a load balancer, the data should be synched with the principal server and backed up.
• Mirror server shall be monitored continuously and periodic logs shall be sent through email to make sure that the mirror server is working properly.
• We have also installed MacAfee, Firewall, Gen 6 FTP Server for protection.
• We use SmartStats for Web log and Google Analytics for tracking some web pages.

Hello everyone. I am looking for someone to help me fix a spam issue I am having on my Windows web server. It is Windows Server 2008 R2 using Plesk and MailEnable.

Windows Web Server Config
web servers version 2008 R2 that need to be configured. They need to be clustered via network load balancing and have mssql express configured. Server A has a few domains setup and is hosting traffic, and already has sql server installed. The servers need NLB setup and have some type of replication setup for both the web roots and database servers. Server B is just a bare install, waiting to be added to the cluster. This should be a quick and easy job for an experienced windows admin.

xy installed and all the ips entered in foxyproxy. I have also installed squid and have entered all the IPs.

It's about creating a mail web/server application that will execute some script to : Configure a server, install postfix, add multiple postfix instances with specific cinfiguration, install phplist with specific configuration beside of some particular options to add to the scripts and the server.
We have attached a .doc file that explaines in details how the application will look like and what are the functions that will make.

The Windows 2008 Server must persistently and automatically map the CentOS server's Samba shared drive as "Drive F:" (letter is not important, but we prefer "F")
The problem is that due to HIPAA regulations, we *cannot* give direct access to either server to the selected freelancer. We will need to be guided/instructed via email, Skype, or other mutually useful method.
