We are looking for an iPhone/iPad designer that is able to make our website iPhone/iPad compatible. Our website has an online reservation system, star rating system, filters, availability checks and more. Everything will be hosted on our server. There is an admin section that also needs to be iPhone/iPad friendly.
Project Details:
To develop an iPhone/iPad friendly website from a "live" website.
Example:
Web portal for bed and breakfasts worldwide. The bed and breakfast owner lists their page on our web portal and when a client makes a reservation, the BnB owner gets paid directly. Tour operators receive discounts when they reserve through the website. BnB owners make changes to their listings, and much more.
Would like to discuss if an app should be developed as well - however, the website compatibility is more important to us at this time.
The project has to be finished no later than November 15, 2010
Terms:
You must have experience in iPhone/iPad web development and iPhone/iPad app development.
If we decide together an app should be developed at this time as well, you must have experience in submitting iPhone/iPad applications through the Apple website. Proof will be requested if we decide to go this route.
The project should be completed within the time frame specified.

Making an existing Website cross browser compatible
with many programs out there which do exactly this.
Obviously I will test the results and I'm not happy with wasting my time. So if you don't think you can do it, then please don't try.
Short a few things I don't like:
- many conditional css hacks
- browser specific js hacks
Besides ie PNG support I hardly can remember a site I couldn't create without the use of those hacks. But if they are inevitable. Then I'm even ok with this.

The content website runs on a CMS called Joomla and the shop runs on Magento.
If anyone can complete the site in any other way at the cheapest possibly way then I will look at that as well. But all images and website needs to run professionally and fast.

any user accesses our existing website from there mobile phones they should be automatically redirected to the mobile site.
Its a simple work and am not in the mood of spending much on that since all you need to do is drag and drop the stuff from our existing website.
