Need website programmer to fix facebook like and share

I have a social networking website that currently has facebook share and facebook like and also twitter share buttons on each page. However these features do not work, when a user clicks the facebook like button for example instead of the title of the specific page of the website showing on their facebook wall it just shows the url link instead. For example, if the title of a page on the website is called "ed's blog about today", when the user clicks the facebook like button instead of it showing on their facebook wall "John likes Ed's blog about today", it shows "john likes www.samplewebsite.com/3254", I need a programmer or designer that is familiar with the facebook API to fix this problem.

It looks fine in the html editor but not "live" We have some Icons and images that are placed in a table but I guess the code is messy and need quick clean up.
