I have had a program written for me by another user on Freelancer, and once it was nearly finished, he stopped communicating with me, and I don't have a complete and working program. So... I am here again to get someone to finish my software once and for all. I do not have the source code, but I have a program that is 90% complete and I will send to you as a "sample" software.
I would like for this project to be bid on as one single project, but I would like for it to be completed in two stages. Basically, I need a program up and working right away (first stage), and then stage two would be to add some basic features on to the first. So here is the description:
Stage One:
Take sample program that I will provide, and re-write the program in your own way (probably in C++???). The program will perform the following tasks:
1) Software will start in a screen which will show a preview window using a webcam center screen with "touch" buttons one on the left side of screen and one on the right side of screen
2) If the button on the left side is touched, it will go to a screen that will show the same preview screen from webcam, but will also give a 3 second countdown, and then will take 4 still pictures using either the webcam or with a Canon digital camera (I will provide the canon SDK's which the camera controls are provided for easy integration). A preview of each picture will be displayed on screen before the next picture is taken
3) The 4 pics will then be saved to the hard drive, then either printed in a few different formats (the sample program has examples of all the layouts), emailed out, or both email and print (there should be an admin setup menu that will allow for options to print, email, or email and print)
4) In the admin setup menu, there should also be an area that the user can type in a textbox, and that will be printed on the the bottom of the print as a "logo"
5) it will then have a screen that says something like "Pictures are printing. Please Wait" and then return back to the main window ready to start all over. (this screen should be easily edited for both text and background)
6) if the Right touch button is pressed, it will go to a screen where the webcam preview is being displayed, and give a 3 second countdown and it will then proceed to record a video from the webcam with a countdown timer that will be set in seconds in the admin setup menu. The webcam should be able to record at full camera capability (at least 640X480 @ 30 fps), and have compression codecs selectable in the admin setup menu
7) when the countdown is complete, it will stop recording and in the admin setup menu there will be an option to automatically save and exit, or to prompt the user to "Re-Shoot Video" or "Save and exit"
8) the software would then return to the main menu ready for the next selection.
9) Each and every screen should be able to have any text and background editable in admin setup menu, as well as the "graphic" for all the buttons used
10) for email, a touch keyboard should pop-up on screen and contain the necessary characters to type an email, but should not have command keys like "Cntrl" "Alt" "Del" etc.
Once this is completed, stage one will be complete and the first half of payment will be released. If the first stage is completed within 2 weeks from the day it is accepted, there will be a bonus $ 50 added to the payment.
Stage 2:
1) a Pyramid bill acceptor (model 5400) will be added to the project and the SDK will be provided to monitor the bill acceptor
2) the main start screen will have a "Credits" graphic/text added which will display the amount of money inserted into the bill acceptor
3) once $ X.XX dollars are inserted (set in admin menu), the touch buttons will be enabled once the amount of credits is equal or greater than the button is set to.
