We need freelancers that have experience in developing backup software. We need skills in the area of VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service), Registry keys and values for backup and restore. We will work with you in developing backup components for system state backup, MS Exchange backup, Oracle Database backup, MS Sql server backup, virtual machines and other technologies.
We have some experience with VSS but we need a specialist. We have created a VSS interface but have no experience what to backup for the applications specified above (exchange, sql server, system state ...).
We are developing in JAVA for UI (multi platform) and use c++ and .net to interface with the Windows platform technologies.
We are also interested if you have linux and Mac OS skills in this area. Skills in image byte-by-byte backup is appreciated and a plus.
Please convince us of your experience.

will go only to that directory. They select the files from a tree view similiar to the way other applications offer it. I would like to have the application require a key for install, but not sure how this would be handled. I have a key generator as well for my other applications, so, we may be able to tie this in.

If you can even deliver everything as a solution / form in Visual Studio C#, then this will be a big plus but it's not required. If you could do this, then we could make an extra GAF project out of it if you want.

I'm looking to have a backup application built to have our users be able to backup selected folders on there computer system to our web servers.

I would also like email notification - using my own mail server notifying me and the customer that the data was or was NOT backed up.
I would also need additional functionality that would be added to this project for additional funds which would be the server side along with quotas on the server side that could be set by admin - and monitored by the client.
