Video Guestbook Application
Required skills: Software Architecture
I'm looking for someone to build some software that allows guests at an event to record video messages, take 3/4 photos and print them (like a photo booth), share pictures via memory card/sd card and view pictures shared in a gallery. This software should have the following features:
Overall:
-ideally should run on Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
-Software Should not use the internet at any time and is preffered as an .exe file
-Video acquisition will be via external webcam but administrator should have the ability to chose any direct X video source attached to the machine i.e. usb/firewire external camera
-administartor should be able to select the default printer, camera and memory card detection device using the admin panel
-an admin console should be available to customize bride and grooms name on menu screen, customize options etc.
-a home button saying Main Menu underneath should be displayed on every screen (apart from main menu) which is located at top right corner of screen and when pressed, should take the user/s back to the main menu.
-requires ability to upload 'template' looks for interface
-admin console must have ability to select template on a per event basis.
For the Main Menu Screen:
-Should have space for a logo in top lef hand corner (customized in admin panel)
-Should have 4 butons: Button 1 = "Record a Video Message", Button 2 = "Photo Booth", Button 3 = "View Gallery", Button 4 = "Share Pictures"
-Should have text at the bottom for bridge and grooms name etc. (customized in admin panel)
For the Guestbook Feature:
-users type in their name (using on-screen keyboard or external keyboard)
-users will be shown the entire time on screen to line-up in the cameras view
-users have upto 2 minutes (or whatever the administrator has set) to record video
-users have 2 buttons whilst recording, Record and Stop
-once users have finished recording (pushed stop button or after 2 minutes) 3 more buttons are shows: Play (to play the recording) Re-Record (to re-record their message) and Submit to save their recording to a hard drive and return to the main menu
For the Photo Booth Feature:
-users can be seen at all times when using photo booth feature
-users press go button and software counts down from X numer of seconds (customized in admin panel) and takes 3/4 pictures (customized in admin panel)
-users are then shown pictures and whilst viewing slide show, photos are printed on a 6x4 print that is fully customizable using admin panel
-once slideshow has finished, the user is then automatically returned to the home/menu screen
-prints automatically print from selected printer from admin panel
-prints should have space for text/logo at bottom of prints which is customized using the admin panel
For Gallery Feature:
-users click on Gallery feature from menu screen and are shown thumbnails of pictures and are able to scroll up/down and go to different pages
-pictures are added from the share photos feature and should also be able to be added from admin panel using a windows browser selector
-users are able to download pictures onto memory card if inserted to pc/adaptor (THIS IS NOT A VITAL FEATURE THAT SHOULD BE ADDED)
For Upload Feature:
-users plugin their memory/sd cards to an adaptor plugged into usb of computer
-software promts user/s for their name
-user/s then select/touch the photos they want to share/upload to the gallery feature and then they push a button saying share
-users are then promted to remove card and once removed they are returned to the home/menu screen
This software should be able to use fullscreen on a touchscreen monitor. This software that I am requesting is virtually the same as the software listed below:

The background design of each 3 pages should have a wedding themed background, or if not difficult it would be nice to be able to change the background of the pages anytime you like.
