I need some code or links or macros writing in Excel, which will extract data from another variable excel filename based upon the month (3 characters) and the date (numeric, corresponding to a tab name.
To explain a little more for example:
From Level+6-N107-Weekly-2010-05-21.xls (the date will change every week)
Open QFL 3.4 mmm.xls goto tab n and read cell xnn. (the month will change but the tabs will always be 1-31 and the cell locations fixed)

Macro / VBA Needed to Sort Data

I have a number of tasks that require some excel programming to be written for my business. We use a lot of spreadsheets and there are about 4-5 things we would like to be automated.
I have a preference for people in our timezone (London) as there will most likely be a need for communication to ensure the projects are done properly.

Fix & Edit Excel Vba Macro For Data Entry
Fix my Excel report to work with office 2007 and office 2010. There is a VBA macro. I also need some small edits to the available list of dates in the excel sheet.

- When finding a match, if Age variable does not exist for the firm or if there are more than one match based on closeness in age then just randomly pick a firm from the matches.
- Not all firms in Group A will have a match and that is fine.
This should be fairly simple to make for a programmer. I have attached the Excel file with Group A and Group B.
I need the actual macro code so that I can tweak it in case I change my mind about size %.

I've also attached the data in XML format just in case you would rather work with XML format as long as it can be converted to Excel with the same format as the Excel data file.
I'm open to suggestions if there is any other ways to do it besides using Excel macro / vba but like I said above that the final result has to be in Excel format.
