Graphic Design for Award Icon Background
Required skills: Graphic Design, Icon Design
I need a set of 4 graphics to be used as the base for a set of award icons. The finished product will be used and reused by overlaying a graphic representing the type of award.
The basic concept that I've been exploring is a set of bronze, silver and gold medals, with the possibility of an additional trophy cup or crown for an "upper echelon" achievement. I am attaching a simple concept drawing as a bad example.
This needs to be a killer set of graphics - something you'd want to put on your online resume. There's no need to stick with the medal concept, but it should be obvious that the icon represents a high level of achievement, without looking like a gold star on a kindergarten paper.
The required size is 30px x 30px, so less is more. The final images will need to be delivered as layered PSD files, so that adjustments can be made and a new layer added as necessary. This is a work-for-hire and you will need to surrender all rights to the final images, so keep that in mind when bidding.
I need these ASAP, so send me a concept in a PM along with your bid. Feel free to include a watermark on samples to protect your work. I enjoy a good portfolio as much as the next guy, but I don't have time to look at anything but your idea for the graphics I need. (Translation: Don't send me a link to your portfolio.) If your work is exceptional and the price is right, I may also hire you to overlay the final graphics as needed. There are 300 or so of these awards to be done, so the price for that would need to be reasonable.

If the drawing is the only drawing in the album, the frame will be thin, whereas if it is an album with many drawings it should be apparent by the frame around it (either thickness of the line or a thick corner as in the attached pick to show that there are many more drawings in this album/kindergarten).
