Stenography and Cryptography in C#.NET
Required skills: .NET, C# Programming, Cryptography
Below is a basic idea on the proposed program.
Encryption
- Text Encryption & Decryption(must have Initialization vector [IV])
- File Encryption & Decryption(must have Initialization vector [IV])
- Both using AES(Rijndeal) Algorithms.
- The password input for both text and file can varies. Because i have seen a few encryption tools that force users to key in a certain amount of words for them to be able to encrypt.
Steganography
- After text is encrypted, the text must be hidden behind a carrier.
- Only for text encryption and not file encryption.
- The carriers format must include BMP,JPEG & PNG. WAV would be an additional(popular image format).
- Needs to use Least-significant-bit(LSB)
- Able to store a decent number of words for the text encryption without distorting the picture.
GUI
-There needs to be two tabs.

Programming Language
- Everything needs to be done using C#.NET class
- The codes needs to be simple and easy to understand.
- Bug free.
