Children's book illustrator needed

I have completed a small children's book and will be self publishing within the next 2-3 months. I have marketing plans myself and believe my story will be well received ( doesn't every author?). I am looking for a creative realism type illustrator to create 10-15 illustrations for the book. The main character needs to be brought to life somehow, and the illustrator who can do that will be the one I use. The main character is a small fir tree named Furby. He has two animal friends who support him on his journey to find happiness. His adventure is one of spirit and hope. I will be willing to look at artist regardless of publishing experience who thinks they can bring Furby to life. Thats the hard part I would guess. While I have an idea how Furby looks, how do you bring a little fir tree, ( Furby is his name for a reason, not Firby)to be adorable and lovable without being maudlin.
I will pay a one time fee of $ 100 an illustration for 10-15 illustrations. I know there is an illustrator for Furby out there.

We are looking for a creative illustrator for a children's book. Subject matter is royal family (king, queen, knights, etc) involved in adoption, doing battle with dragons. Illustrator needed for VERY simple drawings
e childrens book based on a short poem I've written - it has 16 lines and will need a basic drawing for each.
When I mean basic drawings, I mean REALLY basic, very simple and black and white, more quick doodles really.
The budget is very low ($ 40 - sorry its so low) - however, the design doesnt need to be very detailed.

Book Illustrator for an Illustrated Memoir
am self- publishing. It is approximately 30 pages with some text. I have detailed descriptions of the pictures I would like. I want an almost child like quality to the drawings. I dont want them to be realistic but sketchy/abstract, bright and colourful. I am interested in potentially making a small animated movie out of the book.
