C++ / PostgreSQL app needed for Ad-Hoc OLAP queries (repost)
Required skills: C++ Programming, Linux
Your mission in this project is to build a query processing engine for Ad-Hoc OLAP queries. The query construct is based on an extended SQL syntax known as MF and EMF queries (i.e., Multi-Feature and Extended Multi-Feature queries).
This project is somewhat related to, and builds upon an earlier project, "Simple C++ SQL App" (refer my previous listing and attached archive).

* It doesn't matter what platform / IDE you use, as long as the code you produce compiles fine under g++.
* The program should be fully console based - I do not want a GUI.
* You may use the libpq library if necessary. libpqxx isn't available on the server this program will be run, so please do not use it.
* I require that the code be written using proper modular and object oriented design principles - I don't want a bunch of messy code dumped into a single main() function.
* The code has to be fully commented. You should also describe clearly in the header comment of the main file, how to compile the program, what should one do to run the program, and so on (Like what all libs required, db connection specs etc).
* If you have any doubts about the programming style, please refer to the previous project codes. I expect equal or better quality work.

- The source code should be fully compatible with g++ and PostgreSQL v8.x on a Linux system.
- I will *not* be able to provide any more information about the actual problem than what's already been described in the attached files. Please go through the PDFs and the previous project - if it does not make any sense to you then do not bid on this project.
- I need this project complete in 1 day, so it's imperative that you have prior experience in this field.
