We are looking for a web professional to design the following Web Project for us:
To make it as simple as possible for everybody, we are looking to have a website developed similar to yelp.com
but just for furniture only.
This website will be a review/ social networking website for furniture only.
Part 1 of the Project:
We will sign up furniture stores to be posted on our website.
For each store we need to be able to post the following:
Logo, Title, Description of Store, Operating hours, Location and contact info.
Each store will be signed up with 3 different levels of membership. Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each membership will offer the Stores to list products (Furniture). Bronze: up to 10 Products, Silver up to 20 Products, Gold up to 50. Each Product should be listed with up to 4 pics, Title, Description and price
So, for each store we need to have a LOG-IN, and we need to be able to create each Store information /Appearance ourselves, at a later point we will forward Store Log in info to the particular Store, and let them update or maintain their presence.
Each Store will be signed up per contract (NOT ONLINE), by a Sales Representative.
WE WILL NOT OFFER ANY e-commerce as of now, but might be an Option at a later point
We might at a later point Offer higher packages like Platinum an Diamond etc...
Part2
Customer/ Internet users / End consumers should have the following option on their end.
(END USERS, Should not become aware that Stores need to have a PAID Membership)
Easy to browse Website
Need to be able to search for Stores by Distance from their location (Zip Code) or complete address. Search results should be listed by distance.
User should be able to leave reviews for stores (visible only to registered users, free Registration for End Users)
We will start signing up stores throughout Southern California and than expand to other states as well.
All Products entered by stores, need to be listed on website (KIND OF LIKE A ONLINE SHOP). Each product should also have Store info.
All Products need to be Categorized (Living Room, Dining Room, Bed Room, Youth, Office, Accents etc.)
Part3
We need to provide a Online Chat for all registered users, so they can exchange their shopping or design experience with others (LOGIN and REgistration should be required.
I am sure their is a lot of other questions/points that I have not brought up yet. This is just basic info.
We also want somebody, to work with us in the future to maintain and develop website further. We have our Logo already, and need the graphic design to match the logo. We will also need to design brochures and business cards for our sales reps.
SEO is very important, we would also prefer somebody that can help us develop presence on social networking sites, like Facebook, twitter etc..
