I need a creative, secure,simple solution to a pizza restaurant ordering system from a customer computer/phone through my ordering website to the participating restaurants (email and printer) at the restaurants locations. Attach / hook up a buzzer to the email so they notice the order right away (print automatically). Would prefer php code and MySql since the rest of the site is in php. 1. Ordering should be able to use coupons deduction as well as well as store restaurant name, area and food preferences for future use in user accounts. 2. Keep track of the client orders for restaurant future reference and email advertising campaigns in the restaurants accounts. 3. Restaurants -- should be able to create an account with the website database. Be able to list menu and ingredients / toppings and other dishes and drinks, working hrs, Delivery or Take out, coupons etc. see example: pizza name: Zorba , wheat crust, thin crust, red pizza sauce, feta cheese, salami, etc. sizes: small , medium , large ,x-large - $ 3 coupon if x-large add meat toppings $ 1.25 add veggie toppings $ 1 add local sale tax : 9.5% suggest sale : 6 pack of pepsi for $ 3.55 order is sent from website to the restaurant email printer prints it out and a bell rings :) 4. Restaurant should get with the customer order their email address and the number of previous orders as well as get their own notes about that customer good or bad (not access to the customer account info but connected in the database through their email address) 5. Customer --Creates an account website confirms the email sends password, logs in and selects restaurant to order.Selects for example-- large Zorba pizza. 1/2 no sauce substitute salami with some other topping The second half 3 cheese pizza + extra pepperoni. Selects Delivery or Take out Deducts the COUPON customer has selected from available choices adds local sale tax .. total -cash or credit. Customer can look at 3 orders back and start with same 6.- Important if using time functions- Customer can send order (unless a pre-order for another day) during restaurant working hrs ONLY Website server is in Texas so server clock is Texas but the ordering could be in Florida or California. Willing to listen to your ideas. |

iPhone application will interface with the website backend, if an order has never been placed the user can create an account from his/her iPhone.
Once an order has been placed once from the iPhone, the next time an order is placed from the iPhone it queries the server for his/her address information and asks if this information is correct. (No need to manually enter in the address information each time.)
