We are an internet marketing company and are currently looking to invest in creating a new website building service. We need a team or company (no freelancers please this project is too big) that is able to continue developing and improving this application on a monthly basis.
We need to consult with some very experienced companies and simply come up with great ideas as to how to create a service that is simple, easy to use and very fast.
We have all the marketing, design and planning resources available but we need a reputable company that will help us create something great.

The service will consist of offering business and professionals the ability to create their first websites, easily, fast and as simple as possible.

We need to create a PHP/Javascript/CSS/HTML based application that allows our customers to create and manage their websites.
This is a service application and will be hosted solely on our servers. This is a web service, it is NOT a downloadable CMS or similar.
The main website will allow people to sign up to our services and select one of 3 monthly packages based on their hosting bandwith requirements and website features. The application should be able to limit the amount of features available, depending on the package selected.

CUSTOMER SIDE:
Each customer website will be located on a subdomain "newwebsite.domain.com"
Customer will be able to: change, edit, tweak and select between a number of available CSS based templates (change width, colors, sizes, etc on CSS) - All from a PHP/Javascript user interface. NO CODING.
Customer will be able to: change content, add pages, edit page titles, edit meta tags, edit on WYSIWYG editor, insert image in content, etc, etc.
It is important that we build a very robust application that can be extended and updated as time goes by. We need very clean code, no bugs, smooth and fast interface. I personally will take care of planning out the user interface with your collaboration. User experience is the most important aspect of this project.

I am open to suggestions regarding the use of other framworks such as CakePHP and RubyonRails. I don't have any knowledge about these programming languages, but could see some benefits by using them, specially for scalability. If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know or have any language knowledge you think will improve the application.
