Rebuild an existing site in Joomla
Required skills: Joomla
We have an existing site, which doesn't work properly, and we want it rebuilt using Joomla 1.5(..) (latest stable). Note; we do not want an EXACT copy of the site; the site is currently not working, so there is no reason for an exact clone. I worked with Joomla before and I have tried to talk the site towards Joomla development when I wrote this up. The below is only to give you what has to be done, so you can make a price; PM me for a link to the site so you can check it out.
We need the following things which you should make;
- make the templates to Joomla templates (we have the html, psd, css, images etc); clean, table less html with clear comments, clean JS, clean CSS with proper English and relevant class/ids
- all urls must be SEO and unique with clear names using the titles (in most cases) and sometimes the title and the date (events + blogs)
- the homepage can contain any article/blog post which is flagged 'homepage' (or however that works in Joomla) by the moderators or admins
- articles should have; related articles (based on meta tags), image gallery per article (very simple gallery plugin maybe? you tell me? ), youtube option (embedded youtube plugin; maybe, you tell me), some articles are connected to a location; this location must show on google maps embedded with the article, every article MUST have at least one image ; when articles are shown (in a list for instance), this image is shown next to it; it must be scaled for different sizes thumbnails and to fit the article view; no HTML resizing. There are different types of articles; at least 3 types; the difference is that they have some different parameters which the article writer fills in and which must show in detail/lists and which can be searched for; these are dropdown boxes with text (types, kinds) or numbers which can be freely entered
- users need to be able to comment on, rate, bookmark/favorite and review articles; ratings are not moderated, comment + articles are; moderator users must be able to decline/publish them. articles, when appearing in lists or details or search need to show the rating score, number of reviews and number of comments + links to those (anchored). Bookmark/favorite means that it appears in the user his/her profile favorites list (see below)
- different modules should show stuff like toprated xxx (where xxx is a specified article type); i need to be able to , in the admin, tell what module where should do what; no hardcoding (if any coding is needed; i don't think so, but i'm not 100% sure here), tagcloud module which shows tags from the category you are in (this actually corresponds with a page usually but not always) excpect on the homepage where it's a tag cloud for all
- Community option; users must be capable of registering, login, forgot password and make a profile. Users can have roles member, correspondent, moderator, admin; member means users can make their profile, add favorite articles, make comments, rate, write reviews (all are moderated as already said). Correspondent can do what members can but also write blog posts and articles; both are moderated. Moderators can do everything that correspondents can, but also moderate comments, reviews, articles, blog posts etc. Admins can do all (this feature is already there in Joomla; dunno about the others)
- Community option; showing/searching user profiles ; showing which articles different users have places, which reviews they wrote, which ratings they gave
- Community option; a blog; all 'correspondent users' can post in it (see above)
- Community option; a forum; all members can use the forums ; forum posts are not moderated upfront but can be moderated (by moderators /admins) afterwards
- Events; event calendar; these are articles with a date attached; events are shown on a calendar as well as in a list; past events can be shown, but only by browsing to them. Default it shows all events that are happening from this moment minus 24 hours.
- Suggest; every category should contain a suggest button which allows users (any users, also anonymous users) to suggest an entry for that category; correspondents, moderators and admins can read/edit/delete them
- Traditional 'static' pages; about us, contact (with a form that sends email), disclaimer
- 'Social' extras; tweet/retweet buttons with every article, social posting (javascript) with every article
- RSS for all different content
- A *complete* manual with screenshots how to change all options in the site (amount items on list pages, translation, moderation, roles/permissions, configuring modules) for the things that are NOT standard Joomla
Important; if you think that something which i indicated can be done better/quicker in a Joomla native way, please tell me; if possible I do not want any programming, only plugins and configuring.

Remake of an existing website in JOOMLA
imple html-menu in same style (red background, without animation). The website has to be SEO optimized, must be readable by Google etc. The job has to be finished by Saturday (5th of september).
