This should be a fairly simple project for someone who is experienced, we are expecting the cost of this to not be significant, however we will have more upcoming projects involving Linux so we will continue to give these to a reliable worker who can do this project well for us.

- Using windows machines on the samsung screen and settings 1920x1080 resolutions works fine.

- On the Samsung screen with Linux installed i can set lower resoutions - such as 1360x768 but not 1920x1080.

- The screen is identified as HDTV and not a monitor - not sure if this is the problem?

- Maybe setting manuall values will work - hacking the xorg.conf
