odds comparison application
Required skills: Access DB, Sports, SQL, Web Scraping, XML
I require an odds comparison application that I can run locally from home - not a website.
The application should gather the data and the data must be classified by sport, event, market and outcome to result in a direct comparison for the odds between all bookmakers for all markets requested (15 in total)
I require the following queries from the results
1. Select a bookmaker and sport. The results should display the following sorted in a best macth order ( I will supply the calculation to use to sort the data in this order) Bookmaker, sport, event, market, outcome, bookmaker price, Betfair LAY price and % match. For an example please see http://www.mbassist.co.uk/MatchedBets/tabid/74/Default.aspx. This currently only displays football odds. I would require the same functionalilty but for the sports stated below

f software before. My preferred technology is Java and MySQL but i'm open to alternatives. I'm looking for concrete examples of past work. I also want to know how you suggest handling the on-going administration as different bookmakers have different systems and it must all end up in one uniform collection of events. And if you can include that in the form of a "data-entry" or maintenance contract.
