Javascript Illustrator CS4 Script

This is a really quick little Illustrator javascript job. I have an Illustrator CS4 file upon which I need to run some scripting. The script needs to
1.) Create 30 swatch colours (I will supply what these are)
2.) Apply the swatch colours to two sets of objects in Illustrator, one by one and then export the result image to a unique PNG file. The two sets of objects are to be treated independently so this would result in 900 exported files (each to be named automatically and systematically)
I will supply the Illustrator CS4 file to be worked upon. I want the script to run myself. I do not know how to do this in Illustrator CS4/Javascript but will want a well written clear script so I can extend it in the future to run on different files. I know javascript but not the interface to Illustrator.
