This assignment is designed to allow to you think about the real use of data within an organization and consider some of the issues that arise from the use of such data.
All organizations use data to support decision making, present arguments and influence strategy. This data is often collected in a manner which allows for bias, poorly presented or used in a way which allows for misinterpretation.
Obtain a data intensive report (not financial data) from any organization or which has been used by the organization to drive policy. De-construct this report and critically analyze this in relation to the tools and techniques of MINITAB. Good assignments should show an undertaking of the complexity of data and data analysis and demonstrate critical thinking on the interpretation of the data.
Techniques to be used and illustrated in the assignment along with the tabular data and graphs, charts (in MINITAB):
